As the March 11, 2023 Governorship and State Assembly elections draw nearer, Labour Party Governorship candidate in Delta State, Deacon Kawhariebie Ken Pela has renewed his pledge to give Deltans an all inclusive, harmonious and prosperous governance if elected.

In a statement made available to AtlanticNewsonline Ken Pela who has been described by his supporters as “the worthy Craftsman behind a PO-ssible Delta” said that with his pedigree as an investment banker, professional economist, real estate developer among others, he is prepared to turn the economic fortunes of Delta State from being a debtor state to a prosperous one.

With his entrepreneurial disposition, Ken Pela is determined to embark on wealth creation rather than consumption. This is in sync with the campaign mantra and economic agenda of his Labour Party’s presidential candidate; Peter Obi of moving Nigeria away from consumption to production economy.

As a founder and co-founder of multiple commercial, real estate and finance companies across Nigeria, the Labour Party candidate has a mastery of the private sector which drives the economy of any great nation.

It is expected that bringing such a robust pedigree into governance would surely set Delta State miles ahead of where the state is currently positioned economically. As employer of labour over the years, he is poised to create more opportunities for jobless Delta youths to be engaged.

The Labour Party Governorship candidate hails from Oginibo in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State and is married to Deaconess Margaret Etonde Pela, a former banker also and current Chief Cook of Margie’s Cookin.

Over the years, Deacon Kawhariebie Ken Pela has shown himself as a successful investment banker, a financial and economic analyst, a real estate developer, and an entrepreneur. His active belief in the word of God and Christianity has also made him a strong member of the church and an ordained Deacon at the House of Grace Church, Lagos.

According to him, a vote for him means a vote for a better Delta, where righteousness, harmony, and prosperity would reign.
