Ex-Immigration DCG Brasca Ifeadi Launches Book On Shotokan Karate

With every arrangement in place, all roads would lead to the Newton Park Hotels & Resort in Wuse Abuja on Tuesday 2nd November, 2021 as a former Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) of Nigerian Immigration Services; Dr. Brasca Ifeadi would publicly present the second edition of his book titled HANDBOOK ON SHOTOKAN KARATE: ELUCIDATING KARATE MYTHS, FALLACIES AND TRUISMS.

Expected to chair the occasion is a former Director-General, Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies,
Prof. Epiphany Azinge who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and President General, Asaba Development Union.

The Minister of Youths & Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare is the Special Guest of Honor while former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and President, Karate Federation of Nigeria (KFN), His Excellency Silas Agara is a Guest of Honor. Another Guest of Honor expected at the occasion is Mr. Idris Isah Jere; Ag. Comptroller General, Nigerian Immigration Service.

To unveil the book as the Chief Launcher at the one day event is the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Orchid Hotels Limited; Engr. Jonathan Osemedua Odega while Senator Peter Nwaoboshi (representing Delta North Senatorial District), Hon. Ndudi

Elumelu; House of Representatives Minority Leader, Rt. Hon. Joan Mrakpor; Director-General, Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency and Ranoil Group Managing Director, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie are co-launchers.

Others to unveil the book are Chief Clem Ofuani; a former Commissioner for Economic Planning in Delta State, Barr. Ken Mozia; a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Arch. Kester Ifeadi; Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Contemporary Group Limited, Arch. Okunola Odusote; Managing Director of Popham Walter Odusote Limited, Engr. Tony Ogbuigwe;

former Group Executive Director NNPC Refineries & Petrochemical, Prof. Goodwill Ofunne, Chairman/Managing Director, Fundamental Integrated Site Appraisal Services Limited, Mr. Samuel Afam Ifeozor; Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Picaddily Suites & Conference Centre and Engr. Other dignitaries from both the private and public sectors are also expected to grace the occasion. It would be recalled that the first edition of the book was publicly presented in 2017 and the author; Sir Brasca Ifeadi who holds two Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in different disciplines, has found it necessary to update the publication in line with modern realities in the Shokotan Karate arena.
