Edo Governor Felicitates With Okowa’s Aide Over Death Of Father

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has felicitated with Dr. Michael Nwoko; Senior Special Assistant on Health Monitoring to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on the demise of Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko; father of the Governor’s aide.

In a letter dated June 17, 2022 and signed by Mrs. Blessing Aigbokhavbo on behalf of the Chief of Staff to Governor Godwin Obaseki, the Governor said “there is no doubt that the loss of a loved one can be most distressing irrespective of the age. However, for every human, death is inevitable and for late Prince Augustine Enuraiwe Nwoko he had lived well and completed his journey on Earth.”

The letter added that “His Excellency commiserates with you and the entire Nwoko family, it is his prayers that the good Lord comforts you all and grants you the fortitude to bear this loss.”

According to burial programme released by the family, Prince Nwoko who died at the age of 92 years would be buried on Friday July 8, 2022 at the family compound at Idumuje-Ugboko

after service of songs and social wake keep on Thursday which would also hold at the family compound at Ogbe-Obi Quarters, Idumuje Ugboko.

Guests would be entertained immediately after interment on Friday at the residence of Dr. Michael Nwoko located

at No. 1 Dr. Michael Nwoko Street behind Rain Oil Petrol Station, Idumuje-Ugboko, Delta State.
