University of Nigeria “Jacksonites” Present Inaugural Lecture

Come July 30, 2021 graduates of Mass Communications (a.k.a. Jacksonites) from the famous University of Nigeria, Nsukka will hold the inaugural professional and personal improvement seminar of their alumni association on the auspice of the Association’s Professional Development Series.

With the theme as: A CAPTURED MEDIA IN AN INSECURE NATION, the seminar which would hold in a virtual format will last between the hours of 3pm to 5pm (GMT) and 9am to 11am (EST).

From the event promotional flyer made available to AtlanticNewsonline, it is revealing that a celebrated Nigerian journalist, writer and currently an Associate Professor & Graduate Supervisor at the Institute of Africa Studies, Carleton University, Ottawa Canada, Dr. Nduka Otiono has been chosen to deliver the key lecture.

One time Commissioner of Information in Edo State and former Special Adviser to the Minister of Information, Barr. Kingsley Osadolor will serve as a moderator during the seminar session.

Osadolor is currently the Anchor of Nigerian Television Authority’s (NTA) influential ‘Good Morning Nigeria’ programme.
