Ubulu-Uku Traditional ‘Prime Minister’ Bags Doctorate In Banking And Finance

The traditional prime minister (Onishe) of Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief Emma Ejiofor has been confirmed successful by the authorities of Madonna University, Okija in Anambra State in his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. He majored in Banking and Finance.

AtlanticNewsonlinegathered that Ejiofor who was a one time Deputy Chief of Staff to the Delta State Deputy Governor completed the programme within a four-year period. Sources in the university hinted that they were six candidates who enrolled for the PhD programme in Banking and Finance at the same time but only Ejiofor and one other candidate had successfully completed the programme and confirmed worthy of being conferred with the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the forthcoming convocation ceremony of the school.

Confirming the success story, Ejiofor who spoke with AtlanticNewsonlinecorrespondent via phone on Monday attributed the success to God Almighty who “gave me the grace

and stable mind to pursue and complete the programme in a record time.”

The Ubulu-Uku high chief who is also a grassroot politician holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in accountancy from Imo State University, Owerri and a

Masters in Public Administration from the same.

But sir, Oshanugor in Benin and even in the Eastern states where they have lyese chieftaincy title, it is the lyese that is referred to as the traditional Prime Minister. Are you sure this is different in Ubulu-Uku? Long time. How is your family doing.
