State Owned Universities In Delta Are Outstanding In Infrastructure, Says Governor’s Aide

Delta has the best state owned universities with conducive learning, teaching, and research environment in the country, Senior Special Assistant on Media(SSA), Mr. Ossai Ovie Success has said.

In a statement at the weekend, the SSA posited that within a few months in office , the Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori had inaugurated a 500-seater Auditorium, two 250-seater Auditoriums, and completed the construction and furnishing of the Faculty of Agriculture, Administrative Building, Main Gate Building, and internal roads at the Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai Asaba.

The Governor has also commissioned the Administrative Building; Vice Chancellor’s Lodge; University Guest House; Squash Court and Two-Kilometres of Interlock/Concrete Road at the Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area.

He noted that Oborevwori’s administration has completed some projects in the state and would continue to complete more including the ones he has initiated.

The SSA has therefore used the opportunity to invite other Nigerians outside the state to come and study at any of Delta State Universities.


The universities include
Delta State University, Abraka, University of Delta, Agbor


Delta University of Science and Technology, Ozoro and
Dennis Osadebe University, Asaba.
