Miss Influential Beauty Outfit Gave Me A Starting Point…Fashion Model

For Maryanne Chinwendu Nwabinwe, an undergraduate of the University of Lagos, getting opportunity to participate in the Miss Influential Beauty Outfit (MIBO) pageant is something she would never forget in a hurry as it has served as a starting point for her in the entertainment arena.

To her, clinching the position of the First Runner Up of Miss Influential Beauty Outfit pageant is something she can be proud of, any day. According to her, the pageantry gave her the first life opportunity to go live on television.

Nwabinwe, is a native of Imo State and she is the second child and first female in the family of five(5). She was born in Imo but raised in Lagos where she currently lives. According to her, she moved to Lagos at the age of six with her family. She attended Bacs for her primary school and afterwards moved to Iba housing estate secondary school where she completed her junior and senior secondary school in 2017.

After her secondary school education, her family relocated to Ajah area where she got a job to enable her raise some money for school and support to family in the little way she could.

She worked in a supermarket until she was gainfully admitted into University of Lagos as an Undergraduate in the Department of Christian Religious Studies.

She had to quit the job to focus on her studies but during the 2020 Covid-19 induced lockdown and ASUU strike, she returned to the job and worked hard. She had to work in a beach as a waitress which she retained as a part time job and still running her full time program in school.

Thinking ahead of something that she can do when not working but schooling and something she can do when she is done with education, she came up with the idea of going into modelling.

Fortunately for her, she got an opportunity through a friend who told her about Miss Influential Beauty Outfit and it helped her and served as a starting point. She gave it a trial and it worked out for her as she emerged the first runner up of Miss Influential and was given the opportunity to go live on television.

With this development, now she can proudly call herself the first runner up queen of Miss Influential Beauty Outfit.
