The month of December, 2021 promises to bring together hundreds of personalities who were at one time or the other students of Ezemu Girls Grammar School, Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State between 1980 and 2020.

The re-union after 40 years is one great event that would likely turn the fortunes of the 41-year-old college which laid the foundation for further educational advancement of many old students who now occupy responsible positions both in public and private sectors in Nigeria. A good number of the old students of the college in the Diaspora are also reportedly doing great in their chosen professions.

AtlanticNewsonline gathered that among the old students are medical doctors, legal practitioners, pharmacists, high level marketers, journalists, nurses, accountants, university lecturers and so on.

According to one of the organisers of the December re-union; Judy Ofulue who spoke to AtlanticNewsonline from Canada, there would be a formal pre-event press conference during which the programme of activities and issues involved would be unfolded to the public through the media. The press conference will come up any time soon in her words.

However, from event flyers available to AtlanticNewsonline the old girls among other things, are planning to have a fitness

programme tagged “Walk 4 Life” for men and women, maiden medical outreach as a way of giving back to the community and also sharing of gift items to residents as a form of community service.

It was reliably gathered from other sources close to the organisers that the event

promises to be a very great one going by the financial resources already put together by a good number of the old girls in the Diaspora.
