Elumelu Hands Over Constituency Projects To Delta Communities

The Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu will on Wednesday 28th July, 2021 officially begin the commissioning and handing over of multi-million naira projects built for the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State. The exercise will last three days.

Among the beneficiary communities are Asaba where he built DSS Clinic, residential quarters and a vocational centre with Ibusa having a Civic Centre and erosion control drainage.

Ogwashi-Uku is given ICT and Civic center just as Ubulu-Uku is going to witness the commissioning of its Civic center. Ewulu, Ejeme, Obior, Ubulu Okiti, Ugbodu, Issele Uku, Obomkpa and Ubulu Unor would also witness the commissioning of their own projects.

The constituency projects which he is executing as a member representing Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency were built within the last one year.

It was gathered that
during construction works, Hon. Elumelu had paid oversight visits to assess the level of work done in each community.

Speaking briefly with AtlanticNewsonline, the President General of Ubulu-Uku Development Council, Sir Jonathan Monye commended the lawmaker for the quick completion of work in the town and expressed hope that more infrastructure would soon come to the community which has one of the highest populations in Delta North Senatorial District.

The commissioning of Ubulu-Uku Civic Centre is scheduled to take place at 10am on Thursday and indigenes of the town have been encouraged to identify with the project. They have been asked to be part of the commissioning ceremony.

The Civic Centre is situated near St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Aniagbala Road, Ubulu-Uku.
