BREAKING! Gunmen Disrupt Traditional Rulers Meeting, Kill Five In Imo

At least, five traditional rulers have been reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen at

Nnenasa community, Headquarters of Njaba local government area of Imo State on Tuesday.

AtlanticNewsonline gathered that the traditional rulers numbering over 20 from the area

had convened in a meeting at the local government headquarters when the gunmen invaded the meeting venue.

The gunmen interrupted the meeting by shooting sporadically and killing at least; five of the traditional rulers on the spot.

Others who sustained serious gunshot wounds were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

As at press time, it was uncertain what the situation had become


as the Imo state Police Public Relations Officer, Mike Abatam, said he was yet to receive full details of the incident.
