A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Dr. Emma Ejiofor has clarified reports and insinuations suggesting that he is about to resign from the APC, stating that he has no such intention.

In a press statement issued on his behalf by his Chief Press Secretary, Hon. Innocent Okafor, Chief Ejiofor who is also the Onishe of Ubulu-Uku kingdom said:
“We are compelled to address recent reports and insinuations circulating in the public domain concerning Chief Emma Ejiofor. These reports, which include unauthorized images and speculative commentary, have misrepresented his activities and intentions.

“Specifically, the suggestion that Ejiofor is considering leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC) is entirely unfounded. A recent meeting with political associates, which has been wrongly interpreted, was simply a standard exchange among colleagues and friends. In light of the current political climate and any internal discussions within the APC, it is crucial to emphasize that Ejiofor has no intention of departing from the party.

“As a seasoned political strategist and dedicated member of the APC, Ejiofor remains firmly committed to the party.

He views the APC as the most established and structured platform for achieving his goals. His primary focus is and remains the well-being of his constituents and the broader population, and he is dedicated to serving them within the APC framework.

“We urge the public to disregard these inaccurate portrayals and instead rely on official communications from Chief Ejiofor’s office for accurate information. We advocate for a political environment based on facts and respect, and call for an end to the dissemination of misleading information” the statement added.
