Nigeria’s real estate sector received a boost on Tuesday (2nd September, 2025) when personalities from various walks of life gathered in Abuja for the public presentation of the maiden edition of Property Brokers International Magazine.

The all gloss magazine owned and published by Mr. Matthew Ibadin of Badinson Security Limited has debuted at a time Nigeria’s real estate industry is fast upscaling in various spheres with many investors showing deep interest.

Speaking at the colourful event which held at the high brow Musa Yar’ Adua Centre, Ibadin in his welcome speech said “we are not just unveiling a publication; we are unveiling a vision, a voice and a vehicle for transformation in the real estate industry.

“We are here because the property market is one of the most dynamic forces shaping our economy; yet, it is also one of the most misunderstood and most vulnerable to sharp practices.”

He noted that “for too long, issues such as fraudulent sales, double allocations, false documentation and title irregularities have left investors, financial institutions and stakeholders wary, professionals frustrated and citizens disillusioned.

“That is why Property Brokers International Magazine was conceived to stand as a trusted platform for visibility, viability and value.”

According to him “Visibility, because we believe real estate brands, brokers, developers and entrepreneurs deserve a stage to showcase their work to a global audience.

“Value, because we deliver market intelligence, policy updates and sector-specific insights that empower better decision-making and
“Value, because we verify, validate and investigate, thus ensuring that what reaches our readers is trustworthy, actionable and transformative.”

In the publisher’s words, “this magazine is more than print on paper. It is a bridge between buyers and sellers, investors and institutions, government and the people.

“By aligning with government reforms on housing and land administration, we aim to become a credible partner in shaping policies that protect citizens and strengthen investors’ confidence.”

With a clear vision: to become the most trusted and influential real estate media brand in Africa and beyond by bridging people, properties and possibilities, the magazine’s mission goes further. “We do not just publish; we connect, inspire and convert. We amplify voices, spotlight opportunities and provide tangible returns for advertisers, partners and stakeholders,” Ibadin remarked.

To the magazine’s readers, “every issue will be a toolbox; covering housing and land trends, valuation and auctioneering, urban planning, sustainability and legal safeguards,” he added.

To the magazine’s partners, management of the magazine has offered “features, advertorials, expos and digital engagements designed to expand reach and influence.”

In the same vein, the publisher has this to say with respect to government. “For government and institutions, we provide data, documentation support, and investigative depth to strengthen reforms,” stressing that this is the authority for the property broker community, a voice that unites tradition with innovation, professionalism with integrity and ambition with accountability.”

“From protecting investors against fraudulent realtors to aiding banks and financial institutions in collateral document verification, we serve as a buffer and partner to judicial and law enforcement agencies in resolving property disputes.

“We also provide expert guidance on accessing mortgage loans and acquiring proper land titles and documentation.”

Above all, the magazine has promised that “whether you are a homeowner, an investor, a developer or a policymaker, you will find in these pages clarity, credibility and connection.”

The event was well attended by dignitaries including the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
