Two male Nigerians have been arrested by security agents at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) for allegedly Kidnapping a United States of America citizen in Dubai and defrauding her before eloping with her valuables for Egypt.

A reliable source at the MMIA told Atlanticnewsonline that the arrest of the suspects, Alagbado Folawiyo Abiodun and his colleague were made on Thursday at MMIA by officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service following an intelligence squealed to them by the Nigerian Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Cairo.

The quick intervention of the Immigration officials had made the arrest of the suspects possible on arrival as they would have escaped soon if they had been cleared without information from the NIA.

It was gathered that the suspects after depossessing the American lady of her belongings had departed Dubai to Cairo, Egypt where they boarded Egypt Air to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos where they were arrested following intelligence report.

According to our source, soon as the immigration officials arrested the suspects, their details were forwarded to the Department of State Service (DSS) for further necessary action.

Efforts by made Atlanticnewsonline as at press time to confirm the story from the spokespersons of the immigration service and DSS were unsuccessful
