MEET FRANK OSHANUGOR

By Frank Oshanugor
A Lagos based industrialist, High Chief Richard Ifeanyi Agbapuru on Sunday, upscaled his entrepreneurship profile with the commissioning of an exquisite event hall and children playground.

The facility located at 223 Ago-Palace Way in Okota area of Lagos, which is part of RichyGold Homes and Estates (a subsidiary of RichyGold

Group of Companies) is hugely built with a greater consideration for children’s pleasure.

Officially named after Agbapuru’s youngest child, VICTORIA whose

birthday formed part of the Sunday event, the building complex has an

indoor play hall on ground floor which is equipped with high grade bouncing castles, artificial trackless trains, air power bikes and open roof
cars, snooker board, simulated basket ball machine and others.
The event which attracted hundreds of personalities from various walks of life including scores of children was declared open with prayers

and dedication of the entire Victoria Hall building and items inside, by a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Victor Mbakwe of Orlu Diocese in Imo State. The priest is currently on mission’s assignment in Edo State.
Dedicating the Hall and playground to the glory of God and advancement of humanity, Rev. Fr. Mbakwe said “this place is created for the

good of humanity in general.” He prayed fervently for more blessings for High Chief Agbapuru whose idea and finances birthed the facilities.
A pharmacist, Ogechi Ekeh, cut the ceremonial red tape at the playground to declare it open to the general public while Mayor Edward

Maduka in turn cut the tape to declare the event hall officially open to the public.
The event which began in the afternoon after a heavy downpour that caused traffic snarl for hours in the area, had so much to offer in terms

of musical entertainment, foods and drinks just as it provided children very good opportunity to dance and indulge in various types of plays in the newly commissioned playground and hall.
Many of the guests including children, joyfully joined Agbapuru and his family in the birthday dance with VICTORIA as she cut the birthday cake.
Ace music man (DJ Steve) was on hand to thrill the audience with different kinds of continental music just as an Igbo group was visibly on stage too with rendition of its culturally driven genre of music that pulled some guests up from their seats to openly appreciate the group.
Dignitaries at the occasion included members of Agbapuru’s high brow Hazie International Social Club of Nigeria, Ugomba Social Club and many other well wishers.
The Victoria Event Hall has a sitting capacity of about 500 guests while the playground is also spacious enough to accommodate many

children. The playground is open to children every day of the week.
