Ogun State Amotekun Operatives Nab Ritualists, Cultists At Ijebu Ode

Four young men who left their Lagos residence to seek the help of a herbalist in Ijebu – Ode, Ogun state, for money ritual power have befen nabbed by operatives of the Ogun State Security Network Agency and Amoteku Corps.

The suspects, Michael Charles, Michael James, Nweze Sunday and Nuremi Bakare were reported to have been picked up at Maborode street by the operatives when their movement on a tricycle became suspicious to the security agents.

AtlanticNewsonline gathered that on interrogation the suspects confessed that they had paid the sum of Twenty – Five Thousand Naira ( N25, 000 ) to procure money making charm from the herbalist to enable them become rich financially.

A source disclosed that following the arrest of the four men, the Commander of the corps in the state, Mr. David Ajibola Akinremi, a retired commissioner of police ordered his operatives to go out for criminals in Abeokuta and Ota. The order yielded fruits as two

notorious cultists, Joshua Olayinka and Adewale Samson, both 25 and 24 years old respectively, confessed to be members of Alora Sealord Cult were arrested by the corps members.

The two suspects confessed to have robbed Mr Owoosho Joseph of Plasma Television and handsets. Also nabbed by the operatives at Ijeno area of Abeokuta is a suspected cultist, Lawal Saheed. The corps Commander, Akinremi confirmed that human hairs, wraps of India hemp and a knife were recovered from the suspect who has since confessed to being a cultist.
