Help, Save Baby Onyedikachukwu’s Life

By Susan Okolie

Hello, fellow Nigerians! I hope you are doing well? I am reaching out to you about a cause close to my heart. Our baby named Onyedikachukwu Priscilla Okolie whose father is from Ubulu Uku in Aniocha South, Delta State had a motor bike accident at Masaka, close to Abuja, while being carried at her mother’s back.

She was born in March, 2025 and was just four months old when the accident occurred.

She had fallen down on her head and fractured it. Though this fracture was not immediately diagnosed by the first hospital she was taken to. A few days later, her head started to swell bigger and increased in mass as the day went by.

One week later, her head became bigger, almost like two, a part of her body became numb and she stopped responding to light as she was not blinking her eyes anymore. She was rushed down to the National Hospital, Abuja and was admitted for over two weeks for observation.

A series of scans, and tests were carried out and it was discovered that she had sustained multiple cracks in her tender skull which had caused the fluids that formed mass enlargement in the head.

The paediatric surgeons decided that she would not be operated immediately due to her tenderness. However, on the 9th of December, 2025

she was finally scheduled for surgery and has been on admission. While we all Merry at Christmas and the New Year celebration, Baby Dikachi was battling for her life at the National Hospital, Abuja.

She has spent almost one month so far as she has undergone three (3) surgeries and is yet to achieve results.

The young parents and families had spent over 3 Million naira in these processes yet the child is still battling with different health issues and more surgeries are being recommended which need over 3Million naira to handle.

I am sharing an appeal for support from all well meaning Nigerians to kindly save baby Dikachi’s life. Her situation is currently not encouraging as she is not getting the right attention and all medications at the hospital. There is a need to refer her to another hospital, preferably Sahad Hospital, Apo, Abuja.

Please any amount of money contributed would make a difference. kindly send your token of love for her into the Father’s account:
