Former IGP Mohammed Abubakar Marks 65th Birthday, Gets Kudos From Nigeria Police Force

‎The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force has extended warm felicitations to retired Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar, on the occasion of his 65th birthday on Monday (5th May, 2025).



While congratulating the former police boss, ‎Egbetokun acknowledged and celebrated the exceptional service and enduring legacy of Abubakar, whose leadership and dedication to duty were said to have left an indelible mark on the Nigeria Police Force and the nation at large.

Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, an Assistant Commissioner of Police in a statement on Monday quoted IGP Egbetokun as saying that Abubakar’s “contributions to policing reforms and national security continue to inspire a new generation of officers.



“‎The entire police family joins in wishing him good health, long life, and continued peace as he marks sixty-five.”
