MEET FRANK OSHANUGOR

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, AIG Margaret Ochalla, has been honoured with the RazorNews Lifetime Award for Integrity in Police Service.

The prestigious award, presented by the CEO of RazorNews Group Limited, Mr Odita Sunday, recognises Ochalla’s exceptional commitment to justice, fairness, and professionalism throughout her illustrious career in the Nigeria Police Force.

Presenting the award at the FCID Annex headquarters in Lagos, the Editor-in-Chief of RazorNews Group, commended the senior officer for her exemplary service and transparent approach to policing. He described Ochalla’s career as “a sterling example of leadership, empathy, and integrity in law enforcement,” noting that she has continued to embody the ideals of a people-centered police system.

He further urged the AIG to sustain her unwavering dedication to duty and fairness in the dispensation of justice, adding that her accomplishments serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration to younger officers and the larger society.

In her response, AIG Ochalla expressed appreciation to RazorNews for the recognition, describing it as a call to greater service. She reaffirmed her commitment to upholding the vision and mission of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, particularly in promoting accountability, discipline, and professionalism within the Force.

She also appealed to members of the media to continue to uphold fairness and objectivity in their reportage of police activities, stressing that a balanced partnership between the media and law enforcement agencies is essential for national progress and public trust.
