Members of the Adebayo Adeniyi family in Lagos State have been living in unimaginable fears since January, 2025 following constant threat on them to produce their son Adeyemi Samson Adebayo suspected to be a gay.

Things were said to have gone awry when on January 10, 2025 Mr. and Mrs. Makinde who had been suspecting their son Tope of practicing a weird culture, decided to search his bed room. To their utmost surprise, they discovered some romantic photographs of their son with another male adult.

They similarly discovered some gift items the suspected male lovers had exchanged over the years hidden under a bed. These strange discoveries were said to have infuriated Mr. Makinde who could not hesitate to contact Adeyemi’s parents.

Makinde ‘s anger was quite manifest and he instantly demanded that Adeyemi should be produced immediately to answer the allegation of corrupting his son Tope with same-sex union.
On that same January 10, 2025 Adeyemi was still on school campus when his brother Damilola Adebayo reached out to inform him of the situation at home as Makinde was threatening to destroy their entire family if he, Adeyemi was not handed over.

ATLANTICNEWSONLINE gathered that since the news of same-sex relationship broke out, Adeyemi has been avoiding his parents and everyone in the Adebayo family as well as the Makindes out of fear for his personal safety.
Our findings revealed that in the wake of the crisis, Adeyemi may have sneaked out of the country as he was said to have nursed such ambition though nobody has confirmed it.

Reportedly and regrettably too, on March 23, March 2025, Mr. Makinde involved the police, his political associates and vigilante groups in their area to go for Adeyemi with the hope of arresting him and his family members.

Members of his family were allegedly accused of covering up his sexuality just as the angered Makinde insisted to deal harshly with Adebayos if they failed to disclose the whereabouts of Adeyemi.
The police, vigilante groups and some suspected hired thugs, subsequently stormed the family residence of Adebayos. During the raid Adeyemi’s brothers Damilola and Subomi were severely beaten and injured. Their neighbors who tried to intervene were also beaten and arrested.
Makinde and his group were said to have gone the extra mile of vandalizing Adebayos home, destroying Adeyemi’s car and went on looting. This scenario is said to have created uncertainty for the Adebayos family members who now live in fears of a return attack on them as Adeyemi’s whereabouts remains largely unknown.
