MEET FRANK OSHANUGOR

Two Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO), Doris Amaka Ochei Foundation (DAO Foundation) and Kardinia Hope Foundation (KHF) have been nominated as prospective recipients of the 2023 Ubulu Ezemu Award. The event would hold alongside a book presentation scheduled to hold on December 26, 2023 at Viva Hotels, Ubulu-Uku.
Other nominees for the prestigious award include a community leader, youth mobiliser and renowned scholar from Isho Quarters, Ubulu Uku, Mr. Godwin Mordi and tech-savvy teacher, Mr Azuh Chike Emmanuel (a.k.a. Teacher Chike), serving at Ezemu Girls Grammar School, Ubulu-Uku.
This year will mark the 4th Edition of the top-rated Ubulu Ezemu Award organised by Erec Communications Limited; publishers of Ubulu Ezemu online medium and it would obviously make some remarkable difference as organisers of the award would publicly present a newly published book at the event.
The book titled UBULU-EZEMU: A COLLECTION OF HISTORICAL ESSAYS AND MOON LIGHT GISTS is authored by Mr. Anthony Awunor. The book according to the author, promises some entertaining moments for any prospective reader.
The Ubulu-Ezemu Award was instituted by the media firm to honour outstanding personalities from Ubulu Uku and beyond who have contributed remarkably to the development of the community and its people in every calendar year.
According to the convener of the Award, Mr. Anthony Awunor, this year’s edition, is going to be very unique. “I am highly elated with Ubulu Ezemu Award nominations so far, especially
in the category for community development and welfare to the society. For over four years and counting, I have dedicated my time and resources in
creating avenues and platforms to showcase those who are doing outstanding things in our society.
Awunor, a multiple award-winning journalist added that in this calendar year, “This nomination is a greater call to more service for the nominees. The stage is set for “Who is Who” at
Ubulu Uku and the biggest and most authentic grassroot reward process in the State.
“The 4th edition nominees showcase an impressive list of personalities renowned for excellence and remarkable endeavors across various fields,” Awunor said.
He further stated that with the book presentation coming at the same time, this year’s award ceremony would experience additional attraction as
personalities from different walks of life are expected at the event.
