MEET FRANK OSHANUGOR

By Frank Oshanugor
A Lagos based gospel preacher and Founder of God’s Royal Ambassadors Ministry International (GRAMI); Evangelist (Mrs) Mary Dike who last December openly prophesied that there would be some sort of conspiracy against Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio in 2025, has commented on the trending sexual harassment allegation against him by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and declared that the Senate boss urgently needs serious prayers.
On December 15, 2024 during the Ministry’s Annual Thanksgiving and prophetic service, Evangelist Dike; a professional Lawyer who holds an LL.B degree in Law obtained from the University of Benin 24 years ago had released 30-point prophesies about events that would shape 2025 globally. Number seven in the list of the prophesies was tagged “I see Conspiracy against the Senate President, Mr. Godswill Akpabio.” She had subsequently called for serious prayers against it.

Speaking with ATLANTICNEWSONLINE on Monday in an exclusive interview in Lagos, the GRAMI vision bearer and General Overseer said she was taken aback by the turn of events. “Honestly speaking, I am equally amazed about the prophecy. I am only a pencil in the hand of the Almighty God and I must say that prophecy is for ever. Like the Bible says in Amos 3 vs.7 “surely the Lord God will do nothing but He revealeth His secret into His servants the prophets.
“So the case of Senate President, Godswill Akpabio was a little bit amazing although the Lord showed me last year December among other prophesies, that there was going to be conspiracy against the Senate President. I see it more as spiritual conspiracy. The fact that the Lord revealed it to me way back in December, 2024 was a confirmation that God reveals to redeem. I believe the Senate President may have been spiritually pushed to make sexual advances towards Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan because for Natasha to boldly come out to make such allegation should make Nigerians not to take her for granted.”

Since the matter is already in court and as a professional lawyer, Evangelist Dike believes Akpabio’s innocence or guilt will eventually be proved through the court process. She however did not hesitate to say that “my take on this, is for us to pray for Senator Akpabio because his integrity is at stake. People are agitating that he should even resign his position, though we can not specifically say he committed the alleged sexual assault. It has to be proved in the court.”
Explaining further, the GRAMI Founder whose prophesies on some other issues have come to pass said “what I see in the area of conspiracy is that this issue may have been hijacked by his opponents eyeing his seat and one can see that some members of the public are already calling for his resignation, insisting Akpabio cannot be a judge in his own case.

“I advise that he should take things more seriously. The nation is passing through very serious economic crisis and he should not give room to trivialities. The Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan incident is a warning to him that even if he escapes this one, he should sit up.”
Evangelist Dike also has some words for Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan saying “this is not even the first time she is accusing men for sexual harassment. I pray God to take control so that people would focus attention on things that would add value to the lives of the masses in this period of economic hardship. We should not focus on trivialities.”

Speaking generally on prophesies, Evangelist Dike whose GRAMI is well rooted in the five-fold ministries of gospel preaching, teaching, prophesy, evangelism and healing restated her belief that no prophesy becomes manifest except God gives it in line with Amos 3 vs 7 which says that the Lord does nothing except He has revealed it through His prophets and Proverbs 29 vs 18 which holds that “where there is no vision, the people perish.”
According to her, “it is true that some men of God who are supposed to be spiritual advisers like was the case in Biblical times when Kings were consulting priests, have abandoned their roles because of corruption and pollution in the church in contemporary time.

“People no longer have trust in religious institutions, but that should not however undermine the fact that there are still good preachers of the gospel and prophets who have integrity. I would advise members of the public to pay more attention to those who are true voice of God.”
The Evangelist speaking on the journey of her ministry so far, said that GRAMI was registered in April, 2009 and has existed for about 16 years forging ahead with its God-centred vision of preaching the gospel to people to enable them make heaven. “We want people to live God life and make heaven. We want to take as many people as possible to heaven as GRAMI is gospel-centered.

The GRAMI Founder while describing the achievement of her church so far as appreciable, pointed out that the Ministry which began with only three members now has no fewer than 500 on its membership list and has branches in other parts of the world as they are poised to take the gospel to every part of the world. We want to reach out to people of all races, nations, creed, ethnicity, gender and different orientation. We also want to raise leaders who will obey the call of God in their lives,” she declared.
Evangelist Mary Dike who is married to Pastor (Engr.) Mark Dike is a mother of four male children and if there are any particular challenges she has noticed by virtue of her being the Founder of GRAMI, one has to do with gender discrimination. She told ATLANTICNEWSONLINE that in spite of the increase in membership of her church, many others feel it is a woman’s ministry and do not want to identify with it.

“I also see tribalism manifesting including Biblical illiteracy and what I call consumerism. Quite unlike olden days of our parents, people now come to church because of what they can get and most times, we experience little religious trauma that occasionally lead to disunity among believers.”
Besides gospel ministration, Evangelist Dike is also a song writer, singer and composer. Her Album CD “You are great” has been a blessing to many people. She is also into book writing and one of her published books “The Faith That Works Miracles” has motivated many readers.
